Director and major shareholder - established a training and consultancy business focussed on the use of emerging technology for the individual and organisations.

January 2001 - August 2002: i-label Limited.
Consultant Chief Executive, Director and Shareholder - restructured the company, re-located the operation, secured additional funding, re-negotiated contracts with UK retailers and manufactures.

The company has an electronic data warehouse business providing on-label information to retailers for use on their home shopping web sites.

October 1998 - January 2000: Pitman Training Group plc:
Chief Executive of the Group.
Completed a Management Buy Out of Pitman Training Limited and The Training Corporation from Spring Group plc, to establish Pitman Training Group plc. Supported in the MBO by two (2) colleagues, Nat West Bank and 3i.
During the year to September 1999 delivered an operating profit of ~£450k, on revenues of ~£3.2m, acquired the main competitor to the Group, Future Training and Recruitment Limited, negotiated a number of Joint Ventures with UK, USA and Canadian companies, and identified a number of potential targets for acquisition and/or disposal.
Re-engineered the business and the strategy to position the Group as a Careers, Recruitment and Training business, utilising the franchise network, direct and channel sales and the internet.
Developed the e.commerce strategy for the group to include: a revised interactive web site, direct sales through internet and other channels, provision of on-line training and recruitment services.
